I always have so much fun at the monthly VIN12 events. Invariably I meet lovely people, get to admire an incredibly well-curated art collection, and of course, the wines can’t be beat. Here are some pictures from September’s Napa In Autumn event.

Needles and Pens is a great little boutique/gallery on 16th Street between Dolores and Guerrero, chock-full of work by independent designers, writers, and artists (including me). Join Style Lounge at the Best of the East Bay Party!

Style Lounge: the ultimate shopping experience and fashion show. Shop from independent designers and artists and find the latest wares in clothing, jewelry, accessories, art, home décor and indulge in free beauty make-overs.

Fashion Show designers include: Revelation by ME, Oaklandish, K.Antoinette Collection, Estilo Clothing, Earthen Hinge, Helen de Natalio, O’Lover Hats, Andrea Wysocki, Versa Jewelry, Funky and Fabulous, and Hearts Desire. The fashion show is co-produced and choreographed by Charleston Pierce.
*Style Lounge can be found at Terrace 1 and 2 of the Oakland Museum

renegade went spectacularly — thanks to everyone who visited my booth! I had a blast and am happy to report that the entire experience was delightful.

Best of the East Bay Style Lounge Event: August 7! Free!

August 7 at the Oakland Museum, 5pm to midnight! Come keep me company!

This year the East Bay Express will be celebrating its winners of 2009 Best of the East Bay Issue by throwing the biggest visual and performing arts party the East Bay has ever seen. D.A.I. will be joining this wonderful event with a Style Lounge featuring designers, artists, make-overs and a fashion show.

12,000+ guests are expected this year at the Oakland Museum of California where the Express will take over the entire museum, as well as neighboring public space. Attendees will be wined, dined and delighted by the wide variety of sounds, film, dance and art . A main stage will feature headlining bands, while various rooms and mezzanines will showcase fashion, films, performing arts, live art, music and more. There will also be a kids Zone for younger party goers.
